2. What CodeByPlan is

CodeByPlan stores Claude Code settings and writes them to your devices and to the repos of your organization. It consists of this website, the CodeByPlan app and the service behind them.

CodeByPlan is not made by Anthropic and is not part of Claude Code. Your use of Claude Code is covered by the terms of Anthropic.

CodeByPlan does not run Claude Code, GitHub or your repos, and is not responsible for them. It changes Claude Code settings files and the statusline, and only after it has shown you what it will write.

3. Your account

• You need an account to use CodeByPlan. An account is for one person.
• You choose a username. It is unique and other people see it.
• You keep your password to yourself.

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• The information you give us, such as your email address, is correct.
• Tell us at hello@codebyplan.com if you think someone else uses your account.

4. Organizations and roles

An organization manages settings for its projects and repos. People join by invitation and get a role: viewer, editor, admin or owner. An organization always has at least one owner.

The owners of an organization decide who belongs to it and what its members may do. They are responsible for the settings the organization writes to its repos and to the devices of its members.

5. What you may and may not do

You may use CodeByPlan to manage Claude Code settings for yourself and your teams.

You may not:

• break the law with it, or store content you have no right to;
• store passwords, keys or other secrets of anyone in settings that others can read;
• try to reach data of other people or organizations, or get around the limits of your role;
• attack, overload or disturb the service, or use it in a way that harms other people.

6. Your settings and your files

The settings you store in CodeByPlan stay yours. CodeByPlan writes to files on your devices and in your repos only to do what you ask of it.

You allow us to store, copy and send your settings only as far as needed to run the service for you and your organizations. We claim no other rights to them.

7. Price

CodeByPlan is free to use at launch.

If we ever ask for payment, we tell you at least 30 days before. Nothing is charged unless you agree to it, and you can delete your account before then.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep CodeByPlan available and your settings safe, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. We may change or improve the service. If we stop it, we tell you at least 30 days before, so you can keep your settings: they are ordinary files on your devices and in your repos.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time on your account page. If you are the only owner of an organization, you first make someone else an owner or delete the organization.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why, unless the harm has to be stopped at once.

10. Liability

CodeByPlan is free and provided as it is. We are liable for damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or lost data you could have kept elsewhere. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or the rights you have as a consumer.

11. Law and disputes

The law of Estonia applies. A dispute is handled by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus). If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and may also go to its courts.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then.
